STYLING PARTIES
Styling parties at Emma Shoe can be designed to suit the party host's needs and can be tailor made for any themed or special events like a charity do, birthday or hen party. See some ideas below;
Swishing Parties;
If you've not been to a swishing party yet you will love this new party idea. It's a thrifty way of bagging yourself some free items for your wardrobe. It could be a pair of shoes, jacket or even a party dress. All you have to do is turn up with a few items in good condition from your wardrobe that you are prepared to exchange/ swap with other party goers. Emma will organise the swish and will be on hand to give your guests styling ideas. She can give a trend presentation from a variety of themes e.g the season trends overview, key shoes, bags, party dresses etc. To make a successful swishing party it's recommended a minimum of 20 people attend. Although it can also work well with smaller groups only really if everyone are similar dress or shoe sizes.
Styling Parties;
During the styling party Emma will spend time with each of your guests to give them a mini personal styling session. Each guest will be asked to bring an outfit or selection of 3-4 items from their wardrobe that they would like to learn how to wear differently. Emma will bring a selection of clothes and accessories to assist the re-style or create a new look. Your guests will then have the opportunity to be photographed and following the event will receive a mini Look Book with the photos and styling tips on their new look. Hair, nails and makeup can also be arranged so everyone gets the chance to have a mini pamper and make-over during the party.
Boutique Styling Parties;
If you are Lancashire based and fancy holding your party in a different venue, Emma can arrange somewhere special. Precious is a unique boutique based in Whalley which sells a gorgeous selection of clothes, accessories and jewellery. The party would be an evening event where Precious will open their doors exclusively for your guests. A glass of bubbles and an opportunity to try on lovely clothes with the expertise of a personal stylist at hand. Emma will also present key trends and give one to one advise.
